1890 J&E Steven William Tell Mechanical Bank

$595.00

Here is a 1890 J&E Steven William Tell Mechanical Bank. Made in Cromwell CT. It is hand-painted cast iron 10 1/2” long. Nice action. Cock the launcher, place a penny and push his foot. The penny launched, his head nods, and, it it aimed well, it strikes the apple and allows the penny to enter the bank. Pull the boys hand down to reset the apple. It retains 85% of its paint and has its original trap. Over-all, VG+. (base was checked in the Pattern bank book to verify it is the 1st casting. )
