Here is a Scarce 1940s Child's Book. As photoed, it is the Story of Little Black Sambo. Please forgive the subject, this is an historically significant child’s booklet. It is small format, full color 12 pages. The story isn’t derogatory in itself, and images are beautifully drawn. This character was in Sunday comics all over the US from the late 1930s through the early 1960s. He was in view masters, Whitman children’s books and formats like this which came in a treasury of child stories. This example is bright with some yellowing to pages, but is clean and a scarce survivor, EX.
